Intergrate tweets @ the user into the timeline

When someone tweets @ me (i,e. @jeremythegeek OMG!) i have no idea that they tweeted me. My idea is to integrate tweets directed at the user into the timeline.

OR

A little notification of a tweet directed at me. that flashes when i see the page.

OR

Both!

        This option assumes that you will following every tweet on your timeline, not realistic if you're following many users. While this might be a nice addition, a better (already implemented) solution is to search for your own username (@username) and add it to the quick links 'folder'. Once the "new tweets in folder number" is added, this will be a visual indicator of new tweets directed at you.
